Sunday Sessions Presents Girls Salute the Boys

The Asbury Park Music Foundation’s recurring series Sundays Sessions will feature a special musical performance by Jillian Rhys McCoy, Deseree Spinks, and Reagan Richards in a one-time show titled "Girls Salute the Boys." This special benefit show will be on Sunday, May 19th from 3-5pm in the foundation space, located at  621 Lake Avenue, Asbury Park.

This Sunday Sessions fundraiser series offers an intimate show with table seating at the Asbury Park Music Foundation's performance space, 621 Lake Avenue, Asbury Park. Proceeds from ticket sales, snacks, drinks and our merchandise, benefit the music education programs for underserved youth in Asbury Park. 



JILLIAN RHYS MCCOY Oceanport native, McCoy, has gained great attention over the span of the last twenty five years as a singer, songwriter and producer of several of her own successful shows. As a vocalist she has worked with and under the direction of musical moguls such as Jon Bon Jovi, Joan Jett, Steven Van Zandt, Darlene Love, Tommy James, Alice Cooper, Blondie, Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day), Cheap Trick and Bobby Bandiera among many others.

DESEREE SPINKS Deseree Spinks is a 3 time Asbury Music Award winning singer-songwriter and lead singer of the band Des & the Swagmatics. Her credits include being featured in an Emmy winning PBS documentary profiling Asbury’s music scene and singing at the inauguration of our current governor Phil Murphy. Her days are spent teaching voice and piano and passing on a love of music to the younger generation.

REAGAN RICHARDS Reagan Richards is a singer/songwriter and half of Jersey country duo, Williams Honor, along with Gordon Brown. The duo toured radio throughout the U.S. for two years and their debut album spawned two country radio singles; the second, “No Umbrella,” reached #27 on the charts. They’ve performed on TV on NBC, FOX and NJ News 12 Spotlight. WH ended their first record cycle as direct support for Bon Jovi at Madison Square Garden. They are about to release their second full length record along with a single, “STEP,” and will kick off this record cycle as direct support for Keith Urban at Etess Arena in Atlantic City. In addition to WH, Reagan plays Grace Slick In Glen Burtnik’s Summer of Love and is a backing vocalist who has sung for artists such as David Gray, Lisa Loeb, Joan Jett, Alice Cooper, Debbie Harry, Cheap Trick, Pat DiNizio among many others.
